Crosley's turntables bring people the full listening experience that streaming can't. They recognize that true connection to the music comes with feeling the emotion poured into every note. So they're focusing on bringing that feeling back, bringing listeners ‘in the room with their favorite artists.

Experience the creative energy of a rock band's writer's room. From the needle dropping on vinyl to the guitarist's fingers on the fretboard to the studio immersion with the band, Crosley invites you to be in the room where music is born.


/ CROSLEY x THE LUDLOW NYC LISTENING ROOM

Escape the bustling frenzy of New York streets. Immerse yourself in the rich textures and nuanced accents of Crosley x The Ludlow NYC Listening Room, where you can truly feel like you are 'in the room.'

The Ludlow Hotel in NYC, known for its contemporary design, vintage elegance, and record listening guest rooms, offers a space to 'be in the room' with the writers. 

To promote the listening room, our strategy involves leveraging audio ads on streaming platforms.


Additionally, we'll strategically place advertisements in record shops across the city to reach our target audience.

With a The Ludlow NYC reservation and key card, Ludlow hotel guests gain entry into the Crosley Listening Room.

In the listening room, guests can choose their favorite vinyl across any genre. The turntables will play the music and emulate the experience of sitting in the recording studio with the songwriters.

And as they exit the room, they have the opportunity to share their experience with another music-lover via postcard.


/ PROCESS & REFLECTIONS

My passion for music and vinyl records served as the driving force behind this project. The project is centered heavily on bridging the gap between vinyl records and streaming. Drawing from the foundational knowledge that Crosley turntables excel at bringing forth the raw and authentic moments of a song, 'Be in the Room' was born. This explores ways to enhance music experiences, and usher in a new era for Crosley turntables.

Navigating a brand into a space that is both similar yet distinct from its current standing posed a unique challenge. Anchoring an idea in strategic planning is paramount to executing a successful creative campaign.
